Liverpool moved closer to winning their first Premier League title in 30 years after they thrashed Crystal Palace 4-0 at Anfield on Wednesday.
The win for Liverpool means if Manchester City fails to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Thursday, the Reds will be crowned Premier League champions
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah, Fabinho and Sadio Mane were the scorers for the home team Liverpool opened scoring in the 23 minutes as Alexander-Arnold sent a stunning free-kick over the wall and into the top corner.
Salah doubled Liverpool’s lead on 44 minutes as he finishedFabinho’s beautifully weighted ball. Fabinho then got on the score sheet in the 55th minute with a superb volley.
And in the 69th minute Mane made it 4-0 smashing in from Salah’s perfect pass. Liverpool took their points tally to 86 with the win against Palace and are now a massive 23 points ahead of second-placed Manchester City.
