The National Assembly and the Executive on Tuesday night had resolved all the grey areas which had been delaying the presidential assent to the 2016 budget.

According to the Senate Leader, Ali Ndume, he said, the budget crisis was over for good and the two arms of government had resolved all areas of friction.

He said,”We have just finished a joint meeting of the executive and the legislature and as I speak to you, a clean copy of the budget is being produced for submission to the president.

“We have resolved all the areas of concern to both parties and we are ready to move forward”
