The Federal Capital Territory Administration has confirmed fifty-two new cases of coronavirus.

The confirmation was made by FCTA in a tweet via its Twitter account on Sunday.

The tweet read “FIFTY TWO (52) NEW CASES IN THE FCT.
“Summary of #COVID19FCT as at 11:55pm, May 2nd, 2020.

“Total number of confirmed cases: 266; Total number of active cases: 227; Total discharged: 36; Deaths recorded: 3.

”Residents are urged to continue to stay home and stay safe.”

NCDC had on Saturday confirmed 220 cases in the country taking the tally to 2,388 with 385 patients discharged, while 85 deaths have been recorded.
