Kogi Assembly Confirms Onoja As Deputy Governor

The Kogi State House of Assembly has confirmed Edward David Onoja as the Deputy Governor.

This follows the impeachment of Elder Simon Achuba last Friday.

The confirmation was carried out on the floor of the House in a special sitting presided over by the Speaker, Mathew Kolawole.

He is about to be sworn in a ceremony at the Lugard House, the seat of the state government by the state Chief Judge, Justice Nadir Ajana
