The Flying Eagles Tuesday afternoon arrived at Calabar Airport in preparation for 2nd leg of their qualifiers against Guinea Bissau.

The SA on Sports to Gov Ben Ayade, Hon Effiom Effiwat was among dignitaries to receive the team at Calabar Airport.

The Nigerian contingent was without their Captain, Ikouwem Udo and Head Coach Paul Bogun who were both with Enyimba at Congo for CAF competition.

Meanwhile, the Vice Captain Valentine Ozornwafor and Coach Abdul Maikaba were on ground to ensure the boys are in good form.

As the team settled into their accommodation at Tinapa Lake side Hotel, Calabar the vice Captain Valentine was sent taking instructions from Assistant coach Maikaba.

The New Diplomat learnt that the boys were going to start their schedules by 5pm which included light warm up followed by training the following morning and evening at UJ Esuene Stadium.
