Notwithstanding the ample time between now and the 2023 presidential elections, the campaign posters of former Nigeria’s Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, emerged on the internet, Saturday.

The campaign poster which may have given credence to the former
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate’s ambition, was said to have been posted on Twitter by a certain poitical analyst, Mr Olushola Olufolabi.

Recall that Atiku has never hidden his desire to become the No 1 citizen of Nigeria, an ambition that was once frustrated by the former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Atiku being his VP between 1999 to 2007.

Obasanjo after making up with Atiku, later endorsed him for the 2019 presidential election which he lost to President Muhammadu Buhari.

The former VP has suddenly become a serial presidential candidate and it’s being speculated to be running for the 2023 Presidency again.

In the poster seen on Saturday, Atiku was presented in Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba traditional attires.

The campaign poster had messages in the three major Nigerian languages which read: ā€œAtiku Kawai 2023, Atiku Nikan 2023 and Naani Atiku 2023.ā€

A tweet which followed the poster by Olufolabi described the former Vice President as a unifier.

ā€œATIKU !! The practical unifier, join @AtikuKawai2023 to make it happen!,ā€ he tweeted.

Neither Atiku nor his media aides have reacted to the campaign poster yet as of the time of filing this report.
